netGate

netGate allows the operation of Imaging Solutions’ high-speed printers with 20’000 images per hour. Minilabs and large format printers can be operated via export plug-in modules. netGate functions as a gateway for importing photos into the lab workflow and optimizing them using VIESUS™ image enhancement software. As an image data server, netGate provides these images to the exposure units via an integrated ITP server. This decouples image printing and image import, and ensures high performance.

The efficient memory management allows the mixed processing of small format photos as well as photobooks and large-format posters up to 130 megapixels with the usual high processing performance. This makes netGate an efficient hub in the digital image workflow.
