We developed with purePhoto™ workflow an almost automatic process to produce photo books in not previously known quality. Real photographic paper is used. Photo paper is the only material allowing to print all pixel information without any quality loss. Photos allow the reproduction of a much higher color gamut than electrostatic prints - 16.7 million colors can be exposed. Digital cameras use the RGB gamut and photos are also printed in RBG gamut. As a result, no quality loss occures. However, a convertion of color gamut, resulting in a quality loss of images, is needed for electrostatic printing. |
